Introduction to Medical Terminology
In this module, we will introduce you to the basics of medical terminology, including its definition, origins, and importance in healthcare
This course is designed to provide students with an understanding of the importance of maternal vital sign assessment during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. The course will cover the normal ranges of maternal vital signs, how to measure them accurately, and what changes in vital signs may indicate maternal and fetal distress. Students will also learn how to interpret and document vital signs appropriately.
Doppler Use
This course will provide birth workers, student midwife, etc. with basic doppler knowledge and skills required for the use of the maternal Doppler in pregnancy and labor. Students will learn how to safely and effectively use the Doppler to assess maternal blood flow, detect fetal heart rate, and diagnose potential complications.
